Data intelligence specialist HAL24K has appointed Gerrit Schipper as Board Advisor. His years of experience working in technology, business and strategic management combined with his understanding of how significant data-driven decision making will be to organizations, made him a perfect fit for the company.
As part of the S2DS London 2017 program, HAL24K launched a data science project to demonstrate that traffic cameras could help in air quality forecasting. The team used deep learning and image recognition to identify vehicles in the traffic camera data, while machine learning techniques made predictions of air quality.
Over the last two years, Dutch startup HAL24K have really made a name for themselves.
