Pioneering partnership between Royal HaskoningDHV and HAL24K unlocks potential of real-time data analytics to create smart infrastructure
Investment by Royal HaskoningDHV enables HAL24K to scale globally
Amersfoort/Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 1 May 2018 – Engineering and project management consultancy Royal HaskoningDHV has entered into a strategic partnership with data intelligence scale-up HAL24K. The agreement includes a minority investment by Royal HaskoningDHV in the company. The development promises to unlock the huge potential of advanced data analytics and machine learning solutions for large and complex infrastructure environments.
Royal HaskoningDHV has unrivalled knowledge of the built environment and HAL24K's data science techniques and robust Dimension Platform creates operational and predictive intelligence. In combination, both companies can deliver game-changing solutions.

The partners will jointly develop solutions within the smart city and infrastructure context, starting with a focus on clients in traffic, water, harbours and airports. The companies will further automate and optimize clients’ operations and processes through machine learning and artificial intelligence; designing solutions that seamlessly fit customer needs in real-time.
With automated traffic management systems, real-time data reduces congestion and pollution in and around cities. For water management advanced data science leads to less leakage and higher water quality. Smart crowd management solutions optimize tourist flows.
