A coordinated effort for the real-world tracking of assets

Although HAL24K’s machine learning solutions exist in the cloud, the physical assets they monitor and optimize are very much part of the real world. It is therefore not enough for our customers to know only when we detect or track an asset or anomaly in their data - they need to know exactly where that object is located, and as much other physical information about it as possible.

In the latest post on our TechBlog, Sam Blake, one of our senior data scientists, shows how we go about using video data to track objects’ real-world (latitude-longitude) coordinates and measure their speeds, turning cameras into traffic sensors.
